Police Nab 3 for vehicle theft, Recover motorcycles worth ₹1.2L

Kamasamudram

Kamasamudram police have successfully apprehended three individuals in connection with a vehicle theft case and recovered two stolen motorcycles valued at around ₹1.2 lakh. The incident came to light on October 13 when Murali, a resident of Arimanahalli village, lodged a complaint at Komasamudram Police Station stating that his two-wheeler, parked outside his house, had been stolen.

Under the guidance of DYSP Kanya and Kamasamudram Circle Inspector G.C. Narayanaswamy, PSI Kiran Kumar and his team conducted a thorough operation that led to the arrest of V. Madhu (20), Nandeesh alias Moorthy (20), and Kartik (23), residents of Jitturu district, Andhra Pradesh. During interrogation, it was revealed that the suspects had already committed a theft at Whitefield, Bengaluru.

Police seized the two stolen motorcycles along with two other bikes used in the commission of the crime. Legal action has been initiated against the accused.

The district police authorities, led by Senior Superintendent of Police Shivanshu Rajput, commended the Komasamudram team—including personnel Ramakrishna Reddy, Munavar Pasha, Manjunath Reddy, Ramrao, Manjunath, Markond, Lakshman Teli, and jeep driver Gurumurthy—for their exemplary efforts in the investigation and recovery operation.

A photograph released by the police shows the four recovered motorcycles with the Komasamudram police team, highlighting their success in swiftly resolving the case and bringing the culprits to justice.
