The process for preparing the voter list for Karnataka Legislative Assembly’s Southeastern Graduates’ Constituency has officially begun. District Collector T. Venkatesh announced that eligible voters can submit applications to include their names in Form 18 until November 6.
Addressing political leaders at a meeting in the Collectorate on Saturday, Venkatesh outlined the schedule as per the Election Commission’s instructions. Notifications for the voter list were issued on September 30, with newspaper publications scheduled for October 15 and 25. The draft voter list will be ready by November 20, followed by objections until December 10, with final publication on December 30.
Graduates applying must be permanent residents of the constituency and hold a degree from a recognized university at least three years before the eligibility date of November 1, 2025. Required documents include educational certificates, voter ID, Aadhaar, ration card, passport, driving license, or bank/post office passbook, verified by gazetted officers, and submitted in person or via post to designated Assistant Electoral Registration Officers.
The Form 18 can be downloaded from the Election Commission of India website and the Karnataka Chief Electoral Officer portal, or obtained from the Collectorate and all Taluk offices.
