Kalaburagi
The deadline for online applications to temporarily appoint guest teachers in minority-run madrasas has been extended to October 13, 2025. The initiative, organized in collaboration with the Azeem Premji Foundation, aims to provide students enrolled in selected madrasas for the 2025-26 academic year with formal education through NIOS alongside their religious studies. Guest teachers will teach subjects including Kannada, English, Science, and Mathematics.
Eligible candidates must possess a D.EI.Ed or B.Ed qualification, have proficiency in Urdu, and preference will be given to those who have cleared the TET examination. Interested applicants can submit their applications online via the Minority Welfare Department’s official website: https://dom.karnataka.gov.in.
Previously, the application deadline was set for October 4, 2025, according to district officials of the Kalaburagi Minority Welfare Department. This extension allows more qualified candidates to apply for these temporary teaching positions.
