MP inaugurates multiple development projects

Dr. C.N. Manjunath, Member of Parliament, inaugurated several development projects across Ramanagara taluk on Friday, aimed at improving basic infrastructure in rural areas. The projects include the new bus station building at Mayaganahalli village, the new bus shelter at Pete Kurubarahalli, and the new bus stand at Jayapura Gate. Additionally, a high-mast lighting system installed near the Eidga Maidan adjacent to the Ramanagara APMC market was officially inaugurated.

Speaking to reporters, Dr. Manjunath highlighted that under the MP Local Area Development Scheme, multiple initiatives such as drainage systems, drinking water facilities, bus stands, and school buildings have been undertaken to strengthen rural infrastructure. Many of these projects had recently held groundbreaking ceremonies and several have already been completed.

“Governments operating in a democratic system exist for the people, by the people, and of the people. It is essential that schemes and development initiatives reach farmers and ordinary citizens efficiently, fulfilling their aspirations,” Dr. Manjunath said.

The inauguration event was attended by several prominent political figures, including BJP State President Anand Swamy, District BJP Youth Morcha President Jagannath Gowda, BJP leader Gautam Gowda, and JD(S) leader Sabbagere Shivalingayya, among others. Officials emphasized that these projects aim to enhance connectivity, public convenience, and overall quality of life in the taluk, reinforcing the government’s commitment to rural development. The MP’s visit ‘and the completion of these projects were well-received by local residents, who appreciated the focus on improving essential services and infrastructure across the region.
