Director Mari Selvaraj has announced a new song, Cheenikallu, from his upcoming film Bison: Kaalamaadan. Calling it “a lullaby that makes anyone rest through hardship,” the song promises peace and comfort in a fast-moving world. It will release today (September 23 at 6 PM), which also marks actor Dhruv Vikram’s birthday.
Fans are excited for the song and are celebrating the actor’s growing success in Tamil cinema. The film is trending online with the hashtag #BisonKaalamaadanFromDiwali, as it gears up for a festive release on October 17, 2025.
Known for his emotional storytelling, Mari Selvaraj is both writing and directing the film. Bison: Kaalamaadan is more than a sports drama—it looks at life, struggle, and hope. The film stars Dhruv Vikram and Anupama Parameswaran, with a strong cast including Lal, Pasupathy, Rajisha Vijayan, and Kalaiyarasan.
Produced by Sameer Nair, Deepak Seigal, Pa. Ranjith, and Aditi Anand, the film is made under Applause Entertainment and Neelam Studios. Music is by Nivas K.
