Stasya Pandya to represent India in FEI Children’s Classic

India’s Equestrian Hope

New Delhi
Mumbai’s 13-year-old equestrian talent, Stasya Pandya, has earned the honour of representing India at the FEI Children’s Classic Finals – Silver Tour 2025. The prestigious international show jumping event will bring together top riders aged 12 to 14 from around the world.

Stasya secured her place after a strong performance in the two-round selection trials held from September 11 to 14 at The Embassy International Riding School, Bengaluru. Riding Cougar Des Fees, she completed the first round without errors and clocked 43.63 seconds in the jump-off, finishing second among 18 riders. Her consistency placed her at the No. 1 national ranking in the Silver Tour overall, making her the only rider with zero penalties across all four rounds.

The FEI (Fédération Équestre Internationale) Children’s Classic is designed to give young equestrians an international platform. Riders compete at home on standardized courses before heading to the finals, where they ride borrowed horses. The Silver Tour is part of a three-tier system—Gold, Silver, and Bronze—that nurtures future champions by ensuring equal opportunities across nations.

Speaking about her selection, Stasya said the experience of competing with the country’s best young riders was thrilling. She expressed gratitude to her coach Bobin Tshering, her grooms, the Amateur Riders Club Mumbai, her school Billabong High International, and her parents for their constant support. Her achievement is seen as a proud moment for Indian equestrian sport, showcasing the rising potential of young riders on the global stage. As she heads to the finals, Stasya Pandya carries India’s hopes and aspirations with her.
