Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar on Monday inaugurated HDFC Bank’s new branch at the Global Tech Park Building, O’Shaughnessy Road, Langford Town, Bengaluru. The launch marks the bank’s continued expansion in the state, strengthening its presence with state-of-the-art facilities for customers.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior dignitaries, including Mr. Ahmed Zackaria, Branch Banking Head for Karnataka and Kerala. Speaking on the occasion, Shivakumar emphasized the importance of robust financial services in supporting Karnataka’s fast-growing urban and semi-urban economy.
Alongside the branch opening, the DCM also launched HDFC Bank’s annual Festive Treats Campaign 2025 in Karnataka. The campaign, timed to coincide with the festive season, offers more than 10,000 deals across a wide spectrum of categories. Customers can access attractive benefits on cards, loans, PayZapp, and EASYEMI, making purchases during the season more affordable and rewarding.

HDFC Bank will leverage its strong statewide presence—528 branches, 1,156 ATMs, digital banking channels, and over one lakh merchant and dealer touchpoints—to ensure customers can maximize festive benefits.
In addition, Shri Tushar Girinath, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary (Urban Development and Home), inaugurated the branch’s newly designed locker facility, further expanding banking services. With this dual initiative of a new branch and a festive campaign, HDFC Bank reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing financial accessibility while enabling customers across Karnataka to celebrate the festive season with added ease and value.
