Actor Bhuvan Arora, best known for his role in Farzi, is set to headline the upcoming ZEE5 original series Janaawar – The Beast Within. The crime drama, directed by Shachindra Vats, will premiere on September 26, 2025.
Set in the gritty town of Chhand, the story follows Hemant Kumar (played by Arora), an honest cop caught in a dangerous investigation. The case unravels when a headless corpse, missing gold, and a vanished man disturb the fragile balance of the town. As Hemant digs deeper, he faces not only the dark world of crime but also personal battles, including prejudice and questions about his identity.
The series also weaves in the presence of the Gram Devta, a guardian spirit symbolizing that true strength comes from courage rather than birth. Talking about his role, Arora said playing Hemant was emotionally demanding since the character struggles with duty, family, and inner demons. He added that the trailer only offers a glimpse of the intensity and scale audiences can expect from the show.

Ltd., the series features a strong supporting cast including Bhagwan Tiwari, Atul Kale, Vaibhav Yashvir, Eshika Dey, Vinod Suryavanshi, Amit Sharma, Badrul Islam, and Deekshha Sonalkar Tham.
