The district administration has imposed prohibitory orders around examination centres for the smooth conduct of the Second PUC Examination–2. Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Dr. Anand K. has declared a 200-metre radius around all five exam centres in the district as a restricted zone until May 13. As per the order, photocopy shops, computer centres, cyber cafes, and coaching centres within the zone must remain closed from 8:00 am until the end of examinations each day. The use and carrying of mobile phones by officials, staff, and anyone involved in exam duties has been strictly prohibited. Authorities said the measures aim to prevent malpractice and ensure fair conduct of examinations across Vijayapura district.
