Yapaladinni police have arrested two individuals for allegedly selling adulterated country liquor in Kortakunda village of Raichur taluk. The accused have been identified as Neelamma and Venkatesh. Acting on a tip-off about the illegal sale of spurious liquor, police conducted a raid and detained the duo on the spot. During the operation, officials seized around 67 litres of adulterated liquor from their possession. Police said the accused were involved in preparing and distributing unsafe liquor in the local area. Following the arrest, both were produced before the court, which remanded them to judicial custody. Authorities have said further investigation is underway to trace the source and supply network behind the illegal liquor trade.
