he Department of Physiotherapy of Father Muller Medical College conducted a post conference hands-on workshop on “Hand and Foot Biokinesiology” on Sunday, in the Conference Hall from 9 AM. This is supporting event for Mangalore Physiocon held by The South Canara Teachers Association on March 25 and 26.
Around 150 Physiotherapy students attended this post conference workshop. The resource person for the workshop was Prof (Dr) Amit Sharma, deputy director, School of Physiotherapy, R K University.
The inaugural programme started at 10 AM by welcoming the dignitaries Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, director and president, FMCI; Fr Rudolph Ravi D’sa, administrator, FMCH; Fr Ajith Menezes, administrator, FMMC; Dr. Antony Sylvan D’Souza, Dean, FMMC; D Vedavysa Kamath, chief guest; Dr Chaitanya Shivanand, guest of honour, Dr U T Ifthikar Ali, organising chairman; Prof Sydney Roshan Rebello, organising secretary and Cherishma D’Silva, course coordinator, Department of Physiotherapy.
The event was compered by Rinku Roshan and commenced with a prayer song sung by the BPT and MPT students.
