Director Prasanth Varma has revealed his next superhero film, Adhira, following the big success of Hanu-Man. He shared the movie’s first look poster on social media with the line, “When darkness blooms the world, a LIGHTNING of hope emerges.” The film is part of the growing Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU).
Adhira is produced by Riwaz Ramesh Duggal under RKD Studios and presented by RK Duggal. It is directed by Sharan Koppisetty and stars Kalyan Dasari in the lead. Actor S.J. Suryah will also play an important role. Prasanth Varma is the creator of the film, and fans are already calling it a follow-up to Hanu-Man, which mixed Indian folklore with action and earned over $20 million worldwide. It also won a National Award for Special Effects in 2024.
Though the story of Adhira is still secret, the poster shows strong energy and myth-like themes. Varma is known for mixing local stories with superhero tales.
