Municipal corporations and local municipal council members launched a road development project under the 20 Appendix E grant of 2020-21, from Kanna Gowda to Koppal New Kantaraj Urs Road to Jayanagar Srirampura route to Manandawadi Road.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA S A Ramadas, former prime minister of the country, Vajpayee said that the roads are a symbol of business and business development. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai’s government started granting special grants for the development of roads in Mysore.
We have appealed to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai to seek special grants for the development of roads in our constituency. The rest of the 194km of road work has been done. The road will cover three wards, so we have released Rs 6 crore to build a paved road. “For the sake of road safety, we are creating committees to look after the citizens of the area,” he said.
CCTV is installed wherever there is an accident after this road is completed. We have taken out about Rs 15 crore in our field for Road Safety. We are developing 120 parks in our constituency at a cost of Rs. 40 crore,” he said.
MV Ravishankar, a local BJP leader in the Municipal Council of Shobha, Geeta shree Yoganand, Mysore district, Raju, Umesh and Nandish were present.
