SpiceJet has finalized leases for eight more Boeing 737 aircraft, boosting its fleet ahead of the Winter Schedule 2025. With this, the airline plans to induct a total of 18 new planes, strengthening capacity to meet rising travel demand during the festive and winter season. Debojo Maharshi, SpiceJet’s Chief Business Officer, said the new aircraft will improve connectivity, increase flight frequencies on key routes, and provide a better travel experience for passengers. This follows two earlier agreements for 10 Boeing 737s joining from October 2025.
