A 15-year-old boy, Shaheer, died in a tragic incident after allegedly coming into contact with a live electric wire at Gadiyara in Puttur on Saturday. He was originally from Kodaje near Neralakatte and had been staying at his grandfather’s house in Gadiyara during school vacation. Shaheer, son of Sharif, was a student of a private school in Puttur. According to reports, the accident occurred when he accidentally touched a live wire, resulting in fatal electric shock. The incident has shocked local residents and cast a pall of grief over the area. Police and concerned authorities are expected to look into the circumstances surrounding the incident further investigation is underway now.
