BJP Yuva Morcha protests Kharge remarks on PM Modi

Yadgir

The BJP Yuva Morcha staged a protest at Subhash Circle in Yadgir condemning alleged controversial remarks made by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During the protest, party workers raised slogans and expressed strong opposition to Kharge’s reported comments made during a press interaction in Chennai. BJP leaders claimed that Kharge referred to the Prime Minister in an inappropriate manner and described the remarks as irresponsible and damaging to the country’s political culture.

Addressing the gathering, BJP leaders alleged that Kharge made baseless accusations while commenting on issues such as the Women’s Reservation Bill and constituency delimitation. They further said his criticism of opposition parties, including the AIADMK, and statements on Prime Minister Modi were politically motivated.

The BJP also rejected allegations made by Kharge regarding misuse of central investigative agencies such as the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Income Tax (IT) Department, and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), calling them false and politically driven.

Leaders at the protest accused the Congress leadership of attempting to mislead the public for political gain and demanded accountability for the statements made.

Several BJP leaders, including Mahesh Reddy Munnal, Rachanagouda Munnal, Nagaratna Kuppi, Devindranath Nad, and Khandappa, along with party workers, participated in the demonstration.

The protest concluded with calls for maintaining political decorum and avoiding statements that could, according to the party, disturb public harmony and institutional credibility.
