Digital and satellite rights of Karthis Sardar sold even before the film completes the shoot

Actor Karthi was last seen in the film Sulthan and the film was a success for the actor. Following which he will soon be seen on the screens with the film Viruman and Ponniyin Selvan. Both the films are under post production and Ponniyin Selvan is set to release on September 30.
The actor is currently shooting for the film Sardar which is directed by PS Mithran. The shooting for the film is in full swing and actress Raashi Khanna is playing the role of female lead in the movie. It is expected that the movie will be scheduled for its release for Diwali this year. The music for the movie is composed by GV Prakash. Actor Karthi is reportedly playing a dual role in this film and when his look for the film was revealed, the photos went viral on social media. Apart from Karthi and Raashi Khanna, the movie also features Rajisha Vijayan and Laila in lead roles.
According to news reports, the new update is that the OTT rights and satellite rights for the movie are already bought before the shooting for the film is wrapped up. Reportedly, a regional OTT channel of Tamil and Telugu obtained the digital rights and a regional channel in Tamil Nadu has got the satellite rights of the film.
Following Sardar, actor Karthi has signed up for two more movies which are tentatively called Karthi 24 and Karthi 25 reportedly. Details for the same are awaited.
