The National Youth Festival 2025 will be renamed as the “Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue,” announced Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Monday. Set to take place in New Delhi on January 11 and 12, the event aims to empower young Indians to contribute their ideas for the nation’s development, in line with PM Modi’s vision of increasing youth participation in shaping India’s future.

Mandaviya highlighted that the dialogue would offer a unique opportunity for youth to directly engage with the Prime Minister and present their ideas for a developed India, encouraging greater youth involvement in politics and civic life. The initiative also reflects the government’s commitment to leveraging the potential of “Yuva Shakti” to build a prosperous nation.

The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue will unfold in four stages. The first stage will involve a digital quiz hosted on the Mera Yuva Bharat platform from November 25 to December 5, where participants will test their knowledge of India’s key achievements. The second stage will feature an essay/blog writing competition on themes such as “Tech for Viksit Bharat” and “Empowering Youth.” The third round will be a state-level Viksit Bharat Vision Pitch Deck presentation. Finally, the National Championship will be held at Bharat Mandapam, where state teams will compete and present their ideas to the Prime Minister.

A total of 3,000 youth will be selected through these stages to participate in the national event, providing them a platform to share their vision for India’s future.
