The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) held a protest in Dalbandin, Chagai district, Balochistan, against enforced disappearances and alleged violence by the Pakistan armed forces. Starting from the Arab Mosque and concluding at the Dalbandin Press Club, the rally saw a strong turnout of locals who responded to the BYC’s call for support. Despite internet shutdowns and police efforts to block the demonstration, the protesters continued peacefully. BYC condemned these efforts to silence their protest, emphasizing their commitment to standing against oppression.

On Sunday, a similar rally took place in Noshki, where participants gathered along with families of missing persons, demanding justice and the release of detainees. The rally began at Ain ud Din Road and ended at the Noshki Press Club, with large crowds rallying under the banner, Breaking Silence: Standing Against Enforced Disappearances.

The Baloch community remains steadfast in demanding an end to enforced disappearances, which they say violate their rights and instill fear across Balochistan. These protests highlight the community’s peaceful resistance against what they describe as ongoing injustices by the Pakistan regime, calling for the safe return of those forcibly taken.
