Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a fierce critique of the Congress party, claiming they had surrendered Haryana to dalals (middlemen) and damads (sons-in-law) during their rule on Wednesday. Speaking at a rally in Gohana, Haryana, after returning from a busy three-day trip to the U.S., he declared that Congress was the most dishonest party.

Modi urged voters to support the BJP in the upcoming Assembly elections on October 5, highlighting that Haryana is now an attractive location for multinational companies. He criticized Robert Vadra’s controversial land deals during the Congress government from 2004 to 2014, asserting that voters must protect Haryana from such influences.

As the elections draw near, he noted increasing support for the BJP and warned that if Congress regained power, it would lead to instability and chaos due to internal conflicts. He expressed pride in India’s growing reputation and investment opportunities, emphasizing that these developments would benefit Haryana’s youth and farmers.

Moreover, Modi criticized Congress for neglecting Dalits and other marginalized communities, stating that the party has historically deprived them of rights. He acknowledged a young boy in the crowd who presented him with a portrait, promising to write him a letter. This rally is part of the BJP’s broader campaign to secure a third consecutive term in Haryana.
