In a significant reshuffle, the state government has issued orders transferring 25 IPS officers late on Tuesday night. Among the notable transfers, CB Ryshyanth, the Superintendent of Police for Dakshina Kannada district, has been moved to Bengaluru, where he will now serve as the Superintendent of Police for the wireless division.
Ryshyanth had taken charge as the Superintendent of Police in May 2023. Taking over from Rishanth is N Yatish, previously the Superintendent of Police for Mandya district.
