Kodati Gram Panchayat Implements Garbage Fine, Promotes Segregation Efforts

A fine ranging from Rs. 500/- to Rs. 5,000/- has been set for littering in public areas near the playground and roadside vacant sites. Kasamukta Panchayat has been formed by the officials of Kodati Gram Panchayat in Bangalore East Taluk’s Mahadevpur Constituency, including the president, vice-president, and members.

Previously, a garbage clearance drive was conducted in Solikunte to clean identified black spots during the first phase. Now, in the second phase, the president, vice-president, and members have urged the public to segregate wet and dry waste and deposit it in designated garbage bins distributed to every household in the Walepur area.

Present during the ongoing cleanup efforts were President Mrs. Krishnaveni, Vice-President M. Mojunath, Panchayat Members Narayanaswamy (Babu), Nanjudareddy, Ramaswamy, Satish, Muniraju, Shivakumar, Asha Chittibabu, Veena Ravi, Mamata, Nalinakshi, Anthony Mary, Shubha, former President Ramesh Reddy, along with civil servants, staff, and members of the public.
