Congress spokesperson Ragini Nayak has accused senior journalist Rajat Sharma of using obscene language directed at her during a live debate on the 2024 Lok Sabha election results. A video clip shared by Nayak on social media showing Sharma allegedly using offensive language quickly went viral, triggering widespread outrage and demands for an apology from Sharma.

 

The incident occurred during a televised discussion on the Lok Sabha election results, with Nayak providing video evidence to support her claim. Posting the video clip on social media, Nayak called out Sharma’s behavior, questioning the standards of journalism displayed.

Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh joined in condemning Sharma’s alleged behavior, emphasizing that such derogatory language against a female Congress spokesperson is unacceptable. Ramesh called for an unconditional public apology from Sharma, highlighting the urgency of addressing the matter.

As of now, Rajat Sharma has not responded to the allegations, leaving the issue unresolved and awaiting further developments.
