Former MP Prajwal Revanna, who has been arrested on charges, was brought to the Holenarasipur town in a QR vehicle by the SIT special team on Saturday and conducted a search.
Amidst tight security, a team called Prajwal to Chennambika’s residence in the town.
But the former MP tried to stay out of the media eye. Thus Prajwal did not catch anyone’s eye. He was sleeping in the vehicle. Against this background, a heavy police presence was arranged under the leadership of Hassan ASP Venkatesh Naidu in front of Chennambika’s residence.
SIT officers and staff have arrived in about three-four vehicles. DySP Satyanarayana headed the investigation team. After the SIT team brought Prajwal, the FSL team also arrived at the residence of former minister HD Revanna.
The SIT and FSL team are collecting the technical evidence along with the site investigation.
Earlier, in the wake of the case of rape and sexual assault registered against Prajwal at Holenarasipur city police station and CID, the SIT team brought the victims and conducted a mahajar at places like Prajwal’s residence in Holenarasipur, MP’s residence next to Hassan’s Superintendent of Police office.
After that, they came again and took away the evidence like the bed and pillow of the MP’s residence.
Now, Prajwal Revanna, who is said to be the mastermind of the whole case, is being summoned and the place is being searched, and the SIT is investigating that more additional evidence may be found at this time.
