Former Minister HD Revanna visited Srikshetra Dharamsthal for the first time on Monday after being arrested and released on bail in a woman kidnapping case and had the darshan of Sri Manjunath Swami.
Later, Revanna met Dharmasthala deacon Dr Virendra Heggade and had a conversation with him. After getting bail, Revanna visited many temples including Mysore Chamundeshwari and offered pooja.
Speaking to the media while visiting Dharamsthala, HD Revanna said, I am a devotee of Shri Manjunath Swami of Dharamsthala. Always coming to see Swami, so I have come today. I have been in politics for the last 40 years. I have worked as an MLA for 25 years. I have respect for the law. There is also faith in God. As the case is in court, I will not respond to anything, he said.
I have faith in Manjunath Swami, I had God’s darshan on Monday. I have faith in this area more than all other fields and leave everything to Manjunatha Swami. I have faith in the people of the state and the court, he said.
He refused to respond to the media’s question that there is a programme called Hassan Chalo on May 30. Also, about former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda writing the letter, he said, I don’t know about that.
