Vijay Sethupathi to join hands with choreographer turned director Brinda

Dance choreographer turned director Brinda, made her debut with the film ‘Hey Sinamika’ which was released in theatres in March. The film starring Dulquer Salmaan, Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles, received mixed reviews and it successfully ran in theatres for about two weeks.
Now, the new buzz is that Brinda is reportedly said to direct her next film featuring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. There has been no official announcement yet and it is expected that the cast, crew and the name of the new film will be announced soon. It is also reportedly stated that the filming for the new movie will begin in May.
Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi is awaiting the release of the film ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ directed by Vignesh Shivan, starring Nayanthara and Samantha as female leads. The film is scheduled to release on April 28. Also, Vijay Sethupathi has ‘Vikram’ and ‘Maamanithan’ which are also scheduled to release this year. He has completed filming for his film with director Ponram and is currently shooting for his Bollywood debut ‘Merry Christmas’ along with Katrina Kaif.
