Voting is very important for the success of democracy. Everyone should strengthen the aspirations of democracy by exercising the right to vote. In order to create awareness in this regard, hostel students of the district have requested their parents to write a letter to their parents on a postal card and vote.
The students in the hostels which come under the Backward Classes Department, Social Welfare Department, Scheduled Classes Welfare Departments of Uttara Kannada district are being made aware about voting in a special way.
Now that there is an election, cast your precious vote without any temptation and choose a good candidate, they persevered. They also said let us all vote responsibly for the future of the country, while these students have drawn attention by posting on their home addresses.There are more than 4,500 students in the hostels of the district and most of the students’ parents are in this district. A postcard written by their children is already in the hands of most of the parents.
