Ramnagar’s Shanvi Satish Triumphs In International Taekwondo Competition

Shanvi Satish, representing India, clinched one gold and two silver medals at the international level Taekwondo sparring and patterns competition held at the Police Indoor Stadium in Dubai.

The event saw the participation of 250 competitors from 6 countries, with India represented by 28 contestants alongside participants from UAE, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, Russia, Ethiopia, and Uzbekistan.

In final match against her opponent from UAE, Shanvi emerged victorious, securing the gold medal in the last sparring match of the competition. Shanvi, a Class I student at Natus International School in Ramanagara, is the daughter of K. Satish, President of the Ramanagara District Government Employees Association.

Following her achievement of winning one gold and two silver medals, Shanvi received congratulations from several dignitaries including District Collector Avinash Menon Rajendran, District Panchayat Chief Executive Digvijay Bodke, Assistant Commissioner V.R. Vishwanath, District Honorary President of Karnataka State Government Employees Association Kantaraju, Secretary Shivaswamy, Treasurer Rajasekhara Murthy, Promotion Committee President Satish, Principal of Natus School, and the governing body and coach Balarajan.
