Total support in the elections for 14 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka is expected to be received by the BJP, as stated by Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Pralhad Joshi on Friday. Addressing the media, Joshi highlighted the backing for the BJP-JD(S) alliance in South Karnataka during the voting process. Stressing the importance of popular support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Joshi urged people to actively participate in voting.
Joshi emphasized that the rise in voter turnout does not guarantee Prime Minister Modi’s victory. He called upon alliance party workers to ensure maximum voter turnout.
Meanwhile, former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda criticized the Congress for distributing guarantee handbills in the state. He accused Rahul Gandhi of shifting his electoral base from Uttar Pradesh to Kerala, alleging that this move would mislead and deceive the people. Gowda claimed that the handbills were being used to manipulate the public in the state.
