Must read

Celine Dion, the renowned singer, has been candid about her ongoing battle with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), a rare autoimmune disease that causes severe muscle stiffness and spasms. Talking to sources, Dion shared her hopes for a cure, acknowledging the challenges she faces while managing the condition.

She said she has not beaten the disease and it is still a part of me, Dion explained. She also said she is hopeful that science will find a cure, but for now, she has to learn to live with it. Despite the lack of a cure, Dion has taken on a rigorous treatment plan, undergoing intense physical and vocal therapy five days a week.

Dion initially struggled with her diagnosis, questioning why it happened to her. At first, she was struggling, but over time, she adopted a more positive approach, deciding to face the condition with determination. Life does not give clear answers, just have to live it, she remarked.

Although her touring plans are uncertain, Dion is taking it one day at a time. She said she will be back in four months, but does not know yet what her body will tell. However, her resolve remains strong, fueled by the love and support of her family and fans. Dion also recognized her privilege in having access to quality healthcare, noting that others with SPS may not have the same resources.
