Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari addressed the 15th Jumbo Majumdar International Seminar, highlighting the impact of new technologies on warfare. He emphasized that advancements like AI and quantum communication are rendering existing weapons obsolete. To effectively combat in this evolving landscape, he stressed the need to reimagine traditional war strategies.

Chaudhari outlined the characteristics of future conflicts, which will involve a combination of kinetic and non-kinetic forces, enhanced battlespace awareness, and precise operations under intense media scrutiny. He emphasized the importance of air and space control and the necessity to maintain information and decision superiority.

Discussing emerging technologies, Chaudhari underscored the significance of CMOS sensors, smart decision support systems, and robust command and control networks. He emphasized the importance of manned-unmanned teaming in future aerospace endeavors, rejecting the notion of relying solely on unmanned aircraft.
