The makers of James have succeeded in getting Puneeth Rajkumar’s voice by using the latest technology for the late actor’s character which can be witnessed in the cinema halls from this Friday.
Director Chethan Kumar says, “A company from Hyderabad has recreated Puneeth Rajkumar’s voice by using the latest software and technology which I can say for the first time in the Indian film industry. They were experimenting to make single vocals to multi vocals which comes in handy for pan Indian films from the last few years, `Our’s is the first project which gave them the breakthrough which makes us even more happier for us and fans who are missing Puneeth.”
The director explains, “We have given 15 hours of vocal footages which includes the actor’s voice of his previous films like Ranavikrama and Raajakumara and his television shows Kannadadha Kotydhipathi for the voice references which was a herculean process, we handed over the spot voice recording which happens during the film shoot and Shivanna’s voice was also used to match the frequency level. Puneeth sir’s voice will now give a realistic feel. Raghavendra Rajkumar and Shivarajkumar were satisfied with the voice work, so we also got a go ahead from them to use the voice.”
