In a remarkable achievement, the Karnataka team emerged victorious in the 17th National Floor Ball Championship 2023-24. The championship took place from January 25 to 28, featuring intense competition between teams from Tamil Nadu and Pit India. The event, organized by the International Floor Ball Federation and Floor Ball Association, was held in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. The Karnataka boys, aged between 14 and 17, clinched the coveted first position, securing a gold medal for their outstanding performance. Additionally, the under-19 boys’ team secured a commendable bronze medal, showcasing their prowess in the sport. The under-19 girls’ team also made a significant impact, earning a well-deserved silver medal. To recognize and honor the achievements of these talented young athletes from Karnataka, the St. Benedict’s School Management Board, Nagarbhavi Amateur Floor Ball Association, along with the coach and sports manager, organized a felicitation ceremony. The felicitation serves as a tribute to the dedication, hard work, and sportsmanship demonstrated by the participants throughout the championship.
