Lijomol and Losliya team up for a crime thriller

Actress Lijomol Jose and Bigg Boss Tamil fame Losliya will be sharing screen space in an upcoming thriller titled AnnaPoorni directed by Lional Joshua, a debutant with a shortfilm background. The film, which went on floors on Wednesday in Chennai, will have 96 fame Govind Vasantha as the composer. Harikrishnan, who played Johnny in Madras, also will be seen in a crucial role.
Talking about what attracted her to the role, Lijomol tells us, “I just wanted to do something extremely different from Jai Bhim as I did not want to be typecast in roles similar to what I’d played in that film. I really loved this script and the character. I play a housewife named Poorni. This role doesn’t require physical preparation like the one in my previous film. I will start shooting from Thursday.”
Losliya says, “I loved this story, which will be suspenseful right till the end. I play Anna, a modern, strong-willed girl from a rich background. There is one action sequence that I’ll have to perform in the film, and I’m looking forward to it as I have not performed stunts so far in films.”
The actress says that she’s also looking forward to sharing screen space with Lijomol. “Lijomol and I have equal screen space in this film, and our characters are extremely different from each other. We do not play friends, but at one point, our characters begin to understand each other. I loved her as an actress in Jai Bhim. She is a lively performer and I feel happy to be acting alongside her. I’m excited to see how I perform with her, because she will definitely do her role very well and I want to play mine to my best,” she states.
