Inaugurating the new Hop Com’s fruit and vegetable shop in the Kengeri suburb of Yeshavantpur Assembly Constituency, MLA S. T. Somashekhar reflected on the nature of criticism in politics and emphasized the enduring impact of meaningful work. Addressing the audience, Somashekhar acknowledged that criticism is an integral part of the political landscape. However, he firmly adheres to the belief that while criticism may fade, the impact of constructive actions remains. He stressed the value of focusing on tangible achievements that contribute to the betterment of society. Somashekhar revealed his proactive approach to addressing community needs. He disclosed that he has already communicated with BBMP officials, urging them to promptly allocate funds and initiate the registration process for the construction of a maternity hospital on the designated CA plot. Furthermore, he indicated his efforts in advocating for the replacement of a railway crossing (LC 10) in Kengeri suburb with a railway overbridge, ensuring safer transportation for the residents. Despite facing political challenges and strategizing by opposing parties, Somashekhar expressed gratitude for the unwavering support he has received from the constituents. He reaffirmed his commitment to tirelessly work day and night to provide essential amenities and services to the people of Yeshwantpur assembly constituency.
