N. S. Bosaraju, the Minor Irrigation and Science and Technology Minister, emphasized that the Congress party need not resort to operations targeting leaders of other parties. He clarified that no one has been assigned the responsibility of reaching out to leaders from different political groups. Speaking on this matter on Friday, he conveyed that prominent figures from other parties are showing a keen interest in aligning themselves with the Congress. He believes that individuals who had previously left the Congress might reconsider their decisions and return to the party fold, acknowledging any past missteps. Bosaraju extended a warm welcome to those who share the ideological values of the Congress and wish to join their ranks. He mentioned that several individuals are already in contact with state-level party leaders; however, he refrained from disclosing specific names. Bosaraju underlined that those who align with the Congress ideology are not seen as defecting but rather as embracing the party’s principles. He shared that in the previous assembly elections, he received calls from other parties but chose not to act upon them. He revealed that the Congress has three or four candidates prepared for the Lok Sabha elections in each constituency. Addressing the notion of a political operation, Bosaraju indicated that the conditions for such an endeavor have not yet arisen within the Congress. He mentioned that numerous leaders from regions such as Kalyan Karnataka, Mumbai Karnataka, and Mysore are on the verge of joining the party, although he refrained from disclosing their identities. He made it clear that he has not received any directives from the Chief Minister or Deputy Chief Minister to reach out to leaders from other parties.
