2.45 Lakh People In A Single Day For Lalbagh, 3.98 Crore Record For The First Time In History

The 214th Fruit and Flower Show held at Thanakashi Lalbagh has created a new record and for the first time, it has earned Rs 3.98 crore from entry fee, stalls etc sources. On Tuesday, more than 2.45 lakh people came to watch the exhibition on a single day, another record. In 2019, 1.96 lakh people arrived on a single day in the Republic Day Fruit Flower Show, which was a record so far. 2022 Puneeth Rajkumar commemoration of the 212th fruit and flower show held in August 2022 was at the first place with 9.5 lakh visitors. 3.15 crore was collected that day. This time 8.26 lakh people have arrived in 11 days and it is in the second position. However, it ranks first among the highest grossing shows. In the fruit and flower exhibition held from August 5 to 15 in memory of Kengal Hanumanthaya, the flower models of Vidhana Soudha, Shivpura Flag Satyagraha Soudha and others attracted attention.  For the fruit and flower show, the horticulture department brought more than 10 lakh flowers from different places and spent more than .2 crores on the show. A total of 8.26 lakh people including 5.82 lakh adults, 68 thousand children and 1.75 lakh students visited the fruit and flower exhibition which was held for eleven days. 3.67 crores from admission ticket fee, 27.45 lakhs collected from 180 shops including nurseries, technical and general shops. 2.91 lakh from entry fees for garden competition, ikebana and other arts exhibitors.
