The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has invited applications from meritorious students who secured outstanding marks in the SSLC and II PUC examinations conducted during March-April 2026 for the “Pratibha Puraskar” awards.
For the first time, the GBA is extending the programme to students from government, aided, unaided and residential institutions, besides CBSE, ICSE, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas and GBA schools and colleges functioning within Bengaluru Urban district.
Students who secured 621 marks or above out of 625 in SSLC, equivalent to 99% and above, are eligible to apply. For II PUC, students must have secured 596 marks or above out of 600. CBSE and ICSE students scoring 496 marks or above out of 500 in the respective examinations are also eligible.

Students must fill out the prescribed application form and get it verified and certified by the head of their school or college. Applications can be submitted to the Senior Assistant Director (Education), GBA Head Office, Annexe–3rd Building, 3rd Floor, N.R. Square, Bengaluru-02.
The completed forms can also be emailed to greaterbengaluruauth@gmail.com. Applications must reach the authority by midnight on August 25; those received after the deadline will not be considered.
The GBA has made the application form available on its official website. School and college authorities have been asked to publicise the notification and facilitate submission of details of all eligible students.
