Former Member of Parliament Dr. Umesh Jadhav has hailed the recent election results in five states as a “historic turning point” for the country. In a statement released, he described the outcome as a massive win for the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a clear sign that the political winds are shifting across India.
Dr. Jadhav highlighted the BJP’s impressive performance in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry as proof of growing public trust. He also noted that even in states like Tamil Nadu and Kerala, where the party did not win, a significant rise in their vote share shows that more people are becoming open to the party’s vision. He specifically claimed that voters in Tamil Nadu are starting to push back against the current government’s stance on traditional values.
According to Jadhav, the victory in West Bengal is particularly important because it marks the beginning of an era focused on “peace and development” rather than political violence. He praised the united efforts of the top leadership and local party workers for reaching every corner of the country.
Turning his attention to local politics, Dr. Jadhav commented on recent by-elections in Karnataka. While the BJP did not win in Davanagere or Bagalkot, he called these “valiant defeats.” He alleged that the ruling Congress party used its power and money to secure those wins. He concluded that the national results have pushed the Congress to the sidelines, proving that the public now favors a focus on national integration and constitutional values.
