Massive cleaning work in the limits of the Central Municipal Corporation including KR Market, public appreciation for the cleanliness work

With the aim of preserving the beauty of the city, on the orders of GBA Chief Commissioner Maheshwar Rao, as per the instructions of Central Municipal Corporation Commissioner Rajendra Cholan, a removal operation of the flex, banners and buntings that were installed illegally in the limits of the Municipal Corporation was carried out under the leadership of the Executive Engineers of various departments of the Central Municipal Corporation.
Additional Commissioner for Development Daljit Kumar visited several places and supervised the flex clearance operation. The details of the places where flex and banner clearance operations were carried out at Shanthala Nagar Residency Road, Haridevpur Road, Cubbon Road and Mahatma Gandhi Road, Chamarajapet 3rd Main Road, Sirsi Circle and surrounding areas, U.C. Colony 10th Main Road and surrounding areas of CV Raman Nagar, Siddapur Road, Hosur Main Road, Vishweshwarpur, Cubbon Pet, Sajjan Rao Circle, Bannerghatta Road, Lakkasandra, Siddanna Lane, Nakoda Chowk, Thigalara Pet, Kumbara Pet Main Road, Dharmaraya Temple Road, Banappa Park Road, and Lalbagh Main Road in Chikkapet division, Suranjan Das Road, Jeevan Bhima Nagar Cross and HAL 3rd Phase 10th Main Road of Jeevan Bhima Nagar Subdivision.
A mass cleaning operation has been undertaken in Gandhinagar, Chamarajpet, Chikkapet, Shantinagar, CV Raman Nagar, and Shivajinagar constituencies within the jurisdiction of the Bangalore Central Corporation with the aim of further strengthening cleanliness in public places.
A well-equipped mass cleaning operation was carried out at the city’s main market place, KR Market, which was appreciated by the public.
As part of this operation, various mechanical devices including tractors, JCBs, auto tippers were used to completely remove silt, useless household furniture, building waste, garbage, debris and other wastes accumulated on both sides of the main roads and areas frequently used by the public.
Chief Engineers of Zone-1 and 2, Superintending Engineers, DGMs, AGMs of the Solid Waste Department, Executive Engineers, Assistant Executive Engineers and Ward Marshals, and civic workers actively participated in the cleaning operation.
