Vishwakarma Panchajanya Yatra in November

The Vishwakarma Maha Kookatu has announced that a Vishwakarma Panchajanya Yatra will be held in the last week of November with the aim of creating awareness about the unity, organization and rights and obligations of the Vishwakarma community.

Speaking at the Panchajanya Yatra preparatory meeting, the President of state unit of the union, Vijayakumar Pattara, said, the Vishwakarma Maha Union came into existence in November 2024. Now that it has completed one year, it has been decided to create awareness about community development through the Panchajanya Yatra in the district and taluk centers of the state.

The social work undertaken by the union for the progress of the Vishwakarma Samaj in a year will be reviewed on this occasion. An amendment bill will be tabled in the upcoming session to give Vishwakarma Samaj a place in politics and to provide representation to two Vishwakarmas in the governing bodies of Muzrai temples, he said.

On this occasion, the union’s awareness song and the cover design of the information manual were released.

Honorary President of the union Sarvesh Achar, Vice President Mahadev Panchal, General Convenor Ishwar Vishwakarma, Treasurer Suresh Pattar, and Organizing Secretary Mohan Naragund were present.
