Commissioner orders strict maintenance across Bengaluru

Bengaluru Central City Corporation Commissioner  Rajendra Cholan conducted an extensive inspection of key public spaces on Friday morning, covering SJP Park, NR Road, SP Road Indira Kitchen, Dasappa Hospital, and the Indira Canteen near the local market. The visit aimed to ensure cleanliness, proper maintenance, and operational efficiency at high-traffic areas frequented by residents and visitors.

During the inspection, the Commissioner observed the condition of the Indira Canteen and issued strict instructions to maintain hygiene standards at all times. Officials were directed to ensure that the premises remain clean and sanitary, providing a safe environment for both staff and visitors. At SJP Park, the Commissioner reviewed landscaping, greenery, and general upkeep. He instructed the Horticulture Department to prioritize proper maintenance, including regular pruning of plants, timely watering, and ensuring that pathways and recreational spaces remain safe and well-kept. The inspection also included a check on other facilities along NR Road and SP Road, where civic officials were reminded to keep the areas free of litter and encroachments.
