The Yuva Andhra Championship 2025, a qualifying tournament for the Telugu Kabaddi League, delivered another thrilling day of action at the Chennupati Ramakotaiah Municipal Corporation Indoor Stadium on Monday.
Day 4 proved crucial as Vizianagaram Ninjas climbed back to the top of Pool A with successive wins, while Amravati Crushers maintained their unbeaten streak in Pool B, according to the Andhra Kabaddi Association.
The opening clash saw Kakinada Kraken secure their first victory, edging past Kurnool Knights 43-42 in a dramatic comeback. P Ganga Babu scored 17 points, while Kaligula Srinivas dominated in defence. For the Knights, Nakka Yugandhar’s 14 points went in vain.
In the second encounter, Vizianagaram Ninjas overpowered Bhimavaram Guardians 51-41. Chekka Nagababu’s brilliant 25 raid points and Shaik Bashu’s six tackles proved decisive. Despite Palaka Manikanta’s 23 points, the Guardians fell short.
Over in Pool B, Amravati Crushers showed their strength once again, defeating Krishna Defenders 45-31. Muddada Naresh led with 13 raid points, supported by Kolamgari Rambabu and Karamala Dinesh.
Vizag Commandos then held off Tirupati Raiders 43-38, with Durga Prasad’s all-round show of 17 points making the difference. Hari Prasad Reddy impressed for Tirupati, but his side couldn’t close the gap.
The day ended with Ninjas beating Kraken 39-30, led by another strong performance from Chekka Nagababu.
With these results, Ninjas top Pool A with 23 points, while Amravati Crushers dominate Pool B with 24.
