Thiru Onam festival was celebrated at the Institute of Mother and Deaf Child run by Parents Association of Deaf children in Mysuru on Wednesday. The importance of the festival was explained to children and mothers. Function was attended by vice president of the association Girish secretary, Bhaskar Shetty treasurer, Dinakar Shetty and committee members, Mallikarjun, Hariappa Naik, Om Prakash, Prabhakariah Mrs Ratna Shetty, Jalaja Govindappa along with staff members of the school Paramala Murthy, Uma R Goudar, Vijaya, Reeta Shetty, Ashwini, Kavitha, Ashwini Patil, Saroja, Raghuveer and Shashidhar Shetty, mothers and children.
