Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa said that he would continue touring across Karnataka till his last breath and work towards building a clean, beautiful, and efficient government. He made the statement while addressing the closing ceremony of the Panchapeethadhishwara Dharma Jagruti Sammelana and Felicitation Programme held at Allamaprabhu Grounds in Shivamogga.

Yediyurappa, while accepting a felicitation, said that the blessings of the Panchapeethadhishwaras had given him renewed strength and inspiration. He remarked that the occasion, marked by the presence of revered seers and a grand public gathering, would remain memorable in his life. He added that he would continue to serve people across caste, party, and community lines and ensure justice and assistance to the poor and marginalized.

He stated that the arrival of the religious leaders coincided with rainfall, calling it a divine blessing and a sign of positivity. He expressed gratitude to the pontiffs and community leaders for their support and trust.

Several prominent seers were present on the stage, including the heads of the five Panchapeethas such as Rambhapuri, Ujjaini, Kedar, Srisaila, and Kashi peethas, along with various other religious leaders and community representatives. The event witnessed participation from a large number of Veerashaiva community members.

Prior to the stage programme, a grand procession featuring the Panchapeethadhishwaras’ palanquin (Adhapallakki Utsava) was held across Shivamogga city, drawing large crowds. The procession began at Basaveshwara Temple in Gandhi Bazaar and passed through major city roads including Shivappa Nayaka Circle, Nehru Road, T. Sheenappa Shetty Circle, Durgigudi Main Road, Ambedkar Circle, and Sangolli Rayanna Road, before concluding at Allamaprabhu Grounds.

Cultural troupes including Veeragase and Dolu teams, along with traditional folk performers, took part in the procession, adding grandeur to the event. The ceremony concluded with devotional fervour and large public participation, marking a significant religious and cultural gathering in Shivamogga.
