The Karnataka Lokayukta Police of Gadag district will hold a public grievances meeting on May 13 at the Municipal Office in Lakshmeshwar from 10.30 am to 1 pm. The programme aims to hear complaints from citizens regarding delays, negligence, and misuse of power in government offices.
Officials from various taluk-level departments will attend the meeting. People can submit written complaints against officers accused of delaying public works, denying benefits of government schemes to eligible people, or misusing government funds. Complaints about poor quality work, unnecessary delays in projects, and misconduct by government staff during duty will also be accepted.
Lokayukta Deputy Commissioner of Police Vijay Biradara said complainants must submit supporting documents along with affidavits in Form 1 and Form 2. However, complaints related to matters already pending before courts will not be considered during the public meeting programme.
