An office-bearer of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) has filed a complaint against a man identified as ‘Dore’ for allegedly posting provocative messages on WhatsApp targeting Virajpet MLA A.S. Ponnanna. Complainant B.N. Anand said the accused posted a message on April 29 stating, “Even Ponnanna has two daughters; wait and watch, karma returns,” in a group named “Kodagina Samasyegalu.” Police said the message was posted in response to another member’s comment. Based on the complaint, High Grounds police registered a case under BNS Sections 192 and 352. Notices have been issued and investigation is underway.
