A fire broke out at Ranjeet Palace Hotel located on Station Road in Raichur on Friday night, reportedly due to a short circuit.According to sources, the blaze caused damage to furniture and other interior items, which were partially gutted in the incident. Panic prevailed for a brief period following the outbreak of fire. On receiving information, fire and emergency services personnel rushed to the spot and managed to douse the flames in time, preventing further damage. No casualties have been reported.
