Vijayapura
The results of the Second PUC examinations have been announced, with Vijayapura district registering a significant improvement by securing the 4th rank in the state, compared to 29th position in 2025.
The district recorded an overall pass percentage of 92.03%. Out of 29,182 students who appeared for the examination, 26,857 students have passed.
Stream-wise Performance:
Arts: A total of 12,134 students appeared, of which 10,443 passed, registering a pass percentage of 86.06%.
Commerce: Out of 3,701 students who appeared, 3,446 cleared the exams, achieving a pass percentage of 93.11%.
Science: Of the 13,347 students who took the exam, 12,968 passed, recording an impressive pass percentage of 97.16%.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Anand K. announced the results and appreciated the overall performance of the district.
Top Performers in Arts Stream:
Sanika Metagar of SS PU College, Vijayapura, secured 595 marks, emerging as the State 2nd rank holder and District topper.
Akshata Chavan from the same college scored 594 marks, securing State 3rd rank and District 2nd rank.
Lakshmi Nandur of SS PU College, Baradol, also scored 594 marks, sharing the State 3rd rank and securing District 2nd rank.
Yuvaraj Bagali of SS PU College, Vijayapura, scored 593 marks, securing State 4th rank and District 3rd rank. All the top rank holders are from the Arts stream, the Deputy Commissioner stated in an official release.
