Power supply will be disrupted in several parts of the city on April 12 due to the execution of new link line works on the 11 kV Kirana Bazar and LBS feeders. According to a release by HESCOM, the outage will affect areas under City Subdivision-1, Shivagiri branch, including KIDB and Kirana Bazar, as well as areas under Branch-2 such as Indi Road, Bijjaragi Showroom, Jain Mandir, Uppin Colony, Bijjaragi Oil Mill, Rajratna Colony, Dhanalakshmi Nagar, Rajput Galli, Waddar Galli, Inamdar Colony, Kalika Nagar, Nalaband Chowk, Post Office, Basaveshwar Circle, APMC, Shiva Nagar, Vegetable Market, Kaladagi Galli and surrounding localities.
The power interruption will be in effect from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additionally, all 11 kV root under Subdivision branches 1 and 2 will experience disruption during the same period. The Assistant Executive Engineer of HESCOM City Subdivision-1 has urged consumers to cooperate during the maintenance work.
